Lactic Acid

How far can the physical limits be stretched?

This morning I took my NAPFA re-retest, this time including the 2.4km. I skipped the sit-ups because I didn't want to do stations on a hurting belly. I finally passed my shuttle-run. And that's like a first in years! Thank God! The first try, I got past with 10.9s, an E grade. But I retried, and got 10.7s, a D grade. I think it was my poor technique that sort of prevented me from passing, as I would go stability over speed.
I also made improvements in sit & reach and pull-ups. I managed to hit 4 pull-ups, claiming one more grade. And instead of needing one more 1cm to get a D in sit & reach, I now need 1cm more for a C. lolx
However I failed my 2.4km jog/run, missing the E grade by 19s or so. It might have been due to me already being tired out by the other 4 stations previously, but my lack of stamina is still bad enough for me to have to walk a lot. Standing broad jump is the other station I failed, but it has improved again. Within a week, I got another 7cm (191 in May, 198 last week, 205 today). Perhaps next week I can pass it (needs 210cm). Actually I'd try for a silver award, but I guess I first have to pass all.
Somewhere in between I must've overused a tendon. Just left of my left knee there's some measure of weakness whenever I straighten my leg. I hope I can recover by next week.

I have changed the track to an NDP song. What an awful lot of questions it's asking! But it's nice, yeah. I'll post more videos in late August.

Cool! I just found this government site on national education: http://www.nexus.gov.sg/
