Dreams Denied

Hopes and wishes? Many I can achieve, most must be left unfulfilled. Choice is not given to me, yet I am grateful this way.

Yah, I haven't slept a bit since before the sun set yesterday. And no caffeine was involved.
I missed the camp to become a senior Racial Harmony Youth Ambassador (RHYA) under SouthEast CDC once again this year. I went to a stayover at church instead, and literally stayed awake the whole time. Well, there was company, but most everyone else succumbed to sleep or left before sunrise.
No coffee for me, just sheer determination. Or maybe me being stubborn again.. Stubbornness seems to have molded my life in many aspects.
Anyway, we were there to play 'strategic games'. I wasn't too interested in those, so I spent a large amount of time at a whiteboard making math/phy/chem problems, solving most of them or annoying others by reminding them of study. Can't blame them, the hols just started.. Haha, I derived an equation to produce a curve the shape of the 'M' in Macdonald's! I didn't use parameters, just modulus and square-roots. I had fun.. And I'd better make sure I don't fall sick.

The hardest time to stay awake was about 6, assuming one lasts that long. But as the sun rises, I saw the sky gradually colourised and was refreshed.
I think I shall try to catch up on sleep soon. I've challenged myself enough. Feeling very slow..
