Patriotism

It has become more difficult, in this competitive atmosphere, to find people to guide and teach.

I've realised recently, it is really funny to hear me shout the national anthem in the morning. People around me end up sniggering. At least it wakes them up.. I shall try to 'sing loudly' instead.
Today during GP, the teacher said she wouldn't release the class unless someone, or more than one person, sang a song. The class elected me. Within a minute I agreed to volunteer, and asked if the teacher wanted Majulah Singapura. Not so much approval. Anyway I was joking, I didn't want to do the anthem. So I offered 'Stand Up for Singapore' instead. I couldn't sing well, because I kept falling into laughter as the class had fun. First some of them stood up, but for a while. Then I kept laughing at myself. About from halfway onwards, I noticed some of them were doing something behind me. I kept getting distracted, and ended up laughing more, once I had to focus very hard. After the song, I realised they were trying to record my singing. It couldn't be taken down well, of course, with me laughing in between several lines. Well, it was fun.
Yes, I like to joke and laugh (esp. at myself). Still, I really get sobered down whenever I think of life, and also when I'm trying hard not to offend. But by seeing humour around, I can stay away from depression.

If you want to listen to better music (better than NDP ones) I suggest checking out Pokemon.com. Some of the songs right on the site are good, I especially like 'My Best Friends'.

My homework is piling, I'll have to work on them soon.
