So there we have it! A temporary skin for National Day. How's it?

Today was some National Day celebrations, nothing really eventful. As I was walking out of school, some old friends from GEP noticed me (and I didn't quite recognise them) and asked if I would go to the reunion that was planned today. Having lots of free time, I went along with them.
It was indeed a bundle of mixed feelings to be back at my primary school (Saint Hilda's), see previous teachers after so many years, and meet cohort-mates whom I have not made contact for a long time. There was a somewhat awkward sensation there, as I dropped out of GEP after one year plus, while they established good friendships amongst themselves. No one held it against me, of course, but it makes me wonder what could have happened had I not left early. Still, I thank God for the chance to meet them all again, even though we have gone in seperate ways. 'Our paths will ever cross'.

After lunch at Century Square, a few of us left for Marine Parade to play pool. Initially I was uncertain if I should go, but since I was going that way, I joined anyway. Turned out I'm quite okay at pool, but my accuracy kept falling as the game wore on. Might be my stamina, or my hands becoming a bit sticky.
We became tired of playing after a few hours, and I left the small group to find Popular bookshop. I managed to find it soon, to buy flag erasers and a keychain laser pointer. Then I went back home.
