doldrums
The sun goes down..
I've lots of time today, seeing as I didn't have to go to school for a practical assessment today (I take H1 Chemistry now). Much has passed over the weekend, I shall only give a brief of some occurences.
On Friday I took the mock NAPFA test. Only 3 stations: Standing Broad Jump, Pull-Ups, and 2.4km. Apparently I've failed all 3 stations. Well, I did donate blood the day before, but that weakness can only apply to the 2.4km. I fell short of 3 pull-ups; I need 4 to get a D grade, but I'd much prefer to get higher. As for the jump, I'm still wondering how I'm expected to jump 2.2 metres. I'll practice, but I don't know how much improvements I can make.
Saturday was the 23rd. I had signed up for the IEEE Islandwide Quiz Contest, but was only e-mailed the instructions to take the preliminary round online at 2am in the morning. Fortunately I was free, and I do check my mail.
The quiz was had questions from different subjects: Math, Physics, Chemistry, IQ and General Knowledge. Somehow the 'General Knowledge' questions turned up to be Biology questions. This gives the triple science students a distinct advantage, but as my bio ain't bad either I did okay. I scored a total of 47/60. I'm not too sure how good that is, because I would expect 50+ due to the MCQ nature of the questions.
Now I've recently returned from cycling. It was a good as there were thick clouds at noon, though it drizzled a bit on my way back. My legs failed at some point, and I don't quite know why. I ought to go stretch soon.
