I must set everything right, fast!
I woke up today at 6am. Went to the hostel at VS to meet the foreign scholars from Robotics Club before going to the Science Centre. They turned up late and groggy. Apparently they tend to sleep very late, something I never approve of.
Early on as we prepared for the competition I had warned about sticking to the rules, about the size of the robot and the limit to parts we can used. Nobody took it seriously. I let it go, since I wasn't particularly interested in it. Turns out I was right. The judges were strict about the rules, and the robots we were to use would be disqualified. Team 1 were then trying to get a new design sorted out, but Team 2 gave up. That's not really to be unexpected, most of the IP students weren't fully interested in their tasks of programming and designing. I was in their team, but losing out is fine by me.. since I've never placed it high on my priorities. (but I still was right about following the rules!)
Afterwards I went to the giftshop to buy something curious, way in advance for an idea. Anyways, I then left to cut my hair, it's short now.. I can use less shampoo. (I think I'm sounding random already.) And I've to claim like $50 from the school, since I ended up paying so many taxi bills. Hehx, the schools owes me. XD
Sianz.. I'll have to pack A LOT of work into tomorrow.
I shall change the music again this weekend. I guess everyone's much more active on their blogs during the hols.
