This is the leap day of this leap year. It sounds a good time to post. So here it is and you're reading it now.
Common Test will take up most of next week. I've started revising, but only started. In my current state I doubt I can get beyond an E grade. It is imperative I accelerate my learning.

Today's PE was most interesting. Due to the lightning risk we couldn't do normal PE, so they made us do the sai kang of bringing out chairs and tables from the storeroom to place beside the hall. However afterwards some of us played floorball with what time we had left. I played 2 rounds and rested the 3rd, my friends saying I ran a lot during the 2nd round, but no goals were scored against the opposing team. The matches were badly imbalanced - the other team had guys from Floorball and ODAC. Anyways, I realised I wield the stick rather unusually: perhaps I treat it as something I'd kill the ball with. Often I switch hands, and use the stick from the tip (to gain extra length to compensate for my height XD).
I typically play defense, but today I went up to midfield because most of my team weren't confident in this game and hence felt like defending. Then the running depleted my energy XD. Ah well.. in all, floorball is a good game (except the idea of a goalie without a stick), I'd join it if I retake JC. But for now I had best stick to sticks (get the pun?) of a different sort. I use bamboo for a light melee weapon, which means I really have to know how to parry. The good point is that I can use different sizes of sticks, though for now I train with a 1m pole (floorball sticks are 1.15m, hockey are 3ft). Still, I've yet to choose a favourite colour for the plastic around the pole.

Apparently I'm rather anxious over what might happen over next Saturday. I may go to NTU to represent the school in the IEEE Islandwide Quiz Contest if I have gotten past the preliminary round (which is quite likely). However I've also signed up for a 24-hour fiction writing competition organised by some CCA, which will be held from Friday to Saturday. I hope that the date may be changed if I've to go for the quiz contest, this might actually be possible as there is only one other entry into the fiction writing competition, rendering a lack of proper competition.
