Yet Alone
to go it alone, for I do learn from but 2 teachers
No teacher ought to ever tell me to do work or stay out of class. It's obvious which choice I would pick. Since the event has already occurred once again, I will take it upon myself to learn more efficiently than most others. That responsibility shouldn't always be handed over to teachers, especially when practice (and not concept) is the key factor.
Lately the weather has been rather dry here in Singapore. I hope that will change soon. However, just northwest Yangon has been directly struck by a Category 4 Typhoon. I've managed to collect a fair amount of data on tropical cyclone Nargis' development, but I don't know the extent of the damage yet. It could be a worthwhile case study, except where disaster mitigation is concerned.
I've sorta discovered how to change the play speed of Windows Media Player. It's fun changing the speed of tracks, especially of WAV files. Do try it out.
I'm still rather disturbed by a dream experienced on Saturday morning. I didn't feel ready to blog about it then, and I don't think I am now. But to record it down, I've transcribed the dream into a text file. The file can be read by CLICKING HERE.
Now the letters I've assigned the anonymous people aren't supposed to mean much, so don't get ideas (and no, I've enough sense not to use people's initials). Actually, I sincerely wish nobody guesses right: it's not yet time.
